Bills can't pay the bills.

Photobucket
Chad Billingsley for the second consecutive outing relinquishes the lead. Tonight, Chad's line read:
Billingsley 5.0IP 7H 4ER 4ER 2BB 6SO 0 HR 7.71ERA
Chad has been having a difficult time keeping his pitching away from the middle of the plate, probably an early sign of Chad battling fatigue and his conditioning isn't where it needs to be, sadly this early into the season. Chad has been struggling in trying to get deep into ball games. In Chad's first outing he was able to complete 6 innings and it has been downhill from there. In his last outing, Chad's line against the Rockies was:
3.0IP 6h 5R 5ER 1HR 3BB 3K
Chad has been struggling with consistency for 3 seasons now and he obviously has not been able to figure out the problem, yet. Hopefully with the long season ahead of him he can turn it around and be a valuable piece on this years Dodgers rotation.

Man-U advances

Wonderful game played by Manchester United, today. Man-U won it with goals by Javier Hernandez and Park Ji-Sung and won with an aggregate score of 3-1. Ryan Giggs had a spectacular game (who says you have to be young to play at the highest level?) Giggs gave Hernandez a perfect pass all Hernandez had to do was stick his foot out. Just like all sports, experience is what wins big matches and in this case, Chelsea got outsmarted and outplayed by Giggs. Rooney also had a great game passing the ball, often finding and putting passes that were probably seen as an impossible play, Rooney puts it in a perfect position for someone to make a play on. Match stats. Up next in the Champions League for the Reds will be a matchup between either Inter or Schalke. Schalke winning the first leg, 5-2. Man U will be facing Manchester City in a FA Cup meeting on the 16th of April.

Champions League

Now that Rooney is returning to the pitch after his suspension in the EPL (Swearing on camera), Rooney will be well rested and attempt to knock out the rivals, Chelsea. This game is probably the more intriguing match out of the other matches as this match has an aggregate score of only 1-0, United with the lead.

The return of Wayne Rooney will link up United up front again with one of the more dynamic duo's of Rooney and Javier Hernandez. This combination works really well together as it allows Rooney more space to create up the middle as Javier Hernandez takes defenders down with him. (As seen here)

With Rio Ferdinand and Vidic back together on the back line this United squad gets more experience that only gets more confident after its shutout of the first-leg against Chelsea. My prediction will be 2-1, United. Enjoy!

KKKKKKKERSHAW

Big win tonight for the Dodgers. Kershaw came through again against the Giants to shut them down after his difficult outing against the Colorado Rockies. Clayton's line from tonights game:
6.2IP 6H 0R 0ER 2BB 7SO
Matt Kemp continues to add to his torrid start to the season going 1 for 2 with 2 more walks and a run scored. All in all great win after an emotional start with both teams coming together on the middle of the field to speak to the fans involving Bryan Stow and an attempt to mediate between the violence off the field. Tomorrow morning i'll have a pre-game thread for the Manchester United - Chelsea game. Good night!

"Green light on all Dodger fans, tonight!"

Today the Dodgers begin their series against the hated ones, the San Francisco Giants. The news that has been brought to light for the last two weeks, and understandably so, has been the beating of Giants fan, Bryan Stow. That leads me to tonight. Earlier in the week on the Stephan A. Smith Show, a Giants fan called in and told Stephan that all Dodger fans need to watch their backs and that all Dodger fans have a green light on them.(in danger of a physical threat) This will never end hopefully someone from either side will be the bigger fan and end these childish acts.

Now, on to the game...Dodgers are going into San Francisco with the record of 5-4 and will have Dodgers ace, Clayton Kershaw on the bump. Dodgers will face lefty Bumgarner at 7p.m. This game will have plenty of natural intensity that is usual with a long standidng rivalry. Two young talented lefties going at it this game should be great just like all Dodger-Giants games. Anyone attending be safe out there!

New Start

I have been wanting to begin a blog about sports. My name is Fred Buenrostro, and this blog was inspired by other great blogs like, Vin Scully Is My Homeboy and Sons Of Steve Garvey. Everything I see or hear on a daily basis that has to do with a sporting event will be recorded daily on this blog. As I am writing this, I currently have no followers so watching the process of this blog evolve into a wonderful community of great thinkers is exciting to me. Hope to chat with you guys soon!
